Two souls, two lands, one singular project
The story of The Unic Collection is above all the story of a meeting between Aude & Gordon and two landscapes: Provence and Scotland.
Aude grew up in the south of France, surrounded by vivid light, wild scents and the mineral softness of Provence. This land lives deeply within her, like an invisible thread linking childhood to the future. After the premature loss of her father, who also cherished this region, she felt the need to create a place faithful to her roots — a refuge, a tribute, a life project. She found this place in Saint‑Rémy‑de‑Provence, in a farmhouse nestled at the gates of the Alpilles. The raw charm of the building, the energy of the land, the beauty of the lines — everything became an evidence. Aude then set out to restore life to Mas Audevie, honouring its history and environment with extreme attention to detail.
Just a few kilometres away, in Aix‑en‑Provence, she reconnected with Gordon, the love of her 25 years. Franco‑Scottish, Gordon grew up between Paris and the hills of Renfrewshire, not far from Glasgow. It was in Scotland, alongside his grandfather — Sir Robert Fairbairn — that he discovered, at a young age, golf, mythical links, and the discreet warmth of the Scottish people. Marked for life by its landscapes, traditions and family memories, his bond with Scotland is strong, living and deeply rooted.
Their reunion awakened more than a memory: it gave birth to a shared vision. Aude and Gordon united in life and chose to unite their two worlds as well. Together, they chose a second anchor point on the west coast of Scotland, in Troon, facing the Firth of Clyde. There, they created South Beach – 101, a house open to the ocean, mirroring the light of Provence.
Thus was born The Unic Collection — a bridge between Provence and Scotland, two lands of character, two intimate landscapes, linked by the Auld Alliance and a shared love for places with a soul.
The Unic Collection brings together exceptional residences designed for those seeking more than a stay: a rooted, elegant, vibrant experience. Through these two homes, it conveys a sincere vision of luxury, hospitality and a deep connection to the lands that shape us.
